Clinical Research Studies

Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus:

Status:  Currently enrolling

Location:  Greensboro, NC

Several diffent studies for uncontrolled type 2 diabetic patients. These are once weekly subcutaneous injection studies. Study participants must be at least 18  years old.  Patients considered for enrollement may:

1. have attempted diet control and exercise, or

2. be on metformin use only, or

3. be on metformin plus Actos or Januviau.

Patients will receive investigational medication, study-related physical exams and travel compensation up to $40.00 per completed study visit for 3 years.

Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus:                  

Status: Currently enrolling

Location:  Greensboro, NC

Must be 18 years or older.  Diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and not on any medication for the past 2 months.  Patients will be treated for a period of seven months, if eligible for this study.   Study-related physcial examinations, study medication and travel compensation  will be given to participants for completed visits.
